By: Sally Rutherford Looking to find that special accessory nintendo wii? There are lots of accessories available and I thought I could give you a rundown of what is available:
1) Extra controllers: The Wii only comes with one controller (and nunchuka attachment) and having two is a must. How else are you going to enjoy the fun multiplayer games? Unfortunately you have to buy a second wii remote and wii nunchuk attachment to have the complete set. This will run you about forty dollars, they aren't cheap! I recommend the official Nintendo products.
2) Battery Chargers: With the controllers being wireless, we are now in a new era of gaming. Unfortunately this era includes having to replace batteries after a few hours of play! A charger for your batteries is a must. You can actually get special batteries that allow you to place the entire wii remote in the charger. It's a pretty cool deal.
3) Wireless Internet: Okay, this isn't exactly a Wii accessory, but I feel it is worth mentioning. You see, the wii has wireless wifi already built into it. This means that the only thing you need to do to connect to the internet is get a wireless router (assuming you have a high speed internet connection). Wireless routers are relatively painless to install and configuring it with the wii is a snap. Bring on the online play!
Those are about the only accessories currently available that I feel are worthy of my dollars. Hopefully some inventive new ones will come out soon. As inventive as the wii is, that is certainly more then likely. I hope you were able to learn more about accessory nintendo wii.
