Dating Advice for Women -How to Catch Him by Never Getting Caught

By: Sarah Love Have you ever thought of what it takes to make someone want something? It's not a question most women confront head-on. However, it is a question you HAVE to confront if you are in the dating market to find yourself a partner, boyfriend, husband or lover.

It seems like great salespeople are born to it. I know I, however, am not one of them, and most people are not. If you want someone to want something, then, what do you do? Do you try to talk them into it - convincing them that they need it? Do you just give it to them in hopes that they will pay for it once they find out they like it? No.

What makes an individual place value on an item most of the time is rarity. Think about a precious gem for instance. Emeralds, rubies, diamonds - they cost so much because they are not easily accessible. They must be looked for, found, dug up. Because of that, they are highly valued and treasured. I, for one, want to be a diamond!

The fact is, you ARE a diamond. In order to keep yourself attractive and interesting to men, you have to think of yourself as valuable, rare and sought after. Think about it in terms of some precious item that you just HAD to have. Once you get it - you think it's awesome for a few days, and then over time, it begins to lose interest. You have been satisfied; therefore, you are not making an EFFORT anymore to get it.

Getting what you want snuffs out the attraction of the item. So - think about this in terms of attracting a man. If you give him what he wants, if you let him "catch" you too soon, the thrill of the chase is over, he has you, and the attraction will begin to fade.

In order to CREATE attraction, however, you have to think of yourself as a wild deer - something a man can never truly tame or own. That is a strange thought, though, for a woman. To most women, this totally goes against the grain of what we want. We WANT to be caught and collared - to us, that symbolizes a relationship. But if you want to create that healthy and natural attraction, you have to resist being caught.

How do you get him to chase you, though? First of all - you withhold the carrot. DO NOT have sex with him until you are certain you are actually IN a relationship. For men - sex does not make a relationship. Sex is sex. To women, though, sex makes it a relationship. So to avoid getting hurt, do not have sex with him until you have what YOU want from him.

Next, try to leave him wanting more with the little things. The next time you and he are really having a great conversation, end it a little early. Don't wait until it naturally tapers off, cut it off before that. This way, he will be left wanting more - thinking about you and your connection, and anticipating talking to you again.

Other things you can do include making him wait for date. Say the first time he suggests a date for a Friday night - you, as a busy and wanted woman, are not available that night. Tell him you can't, but maybe the next Friday? You can also not answer the phone when he calls you. Make him wait a few hours or maybe a whole day before calling him back. Do you see the pattern here? Make him PURSUE YOU!

Always keep in the back of your mind that scarcity creates value with anything, and the same is certainly true with dating and relationships. Make yourself more valuable by being a little stingy with your company at times and you will keep him coming back for more. Remember, too, that this same tactic can be used in relationships to maintain your natural attraction levels.
