Detox your Mind: the basics of total relaxation

Besides that, taking good care of your body increases your vitality and your emotional and physical well-being.
All it takes are several treatments which you should do daily. Also you must spoil yourself with a professional body treatment once or twice a week to fully relax and recover. You deserve it.
Daily
Because your body eliminates about 0,5 Kg of waste through your pores every day, it is wise to take good care of your skin. Clean your pores by brushing your skin every morning. It allows your skin to 'breathe' efficiently and improves the way you look at the same time. Another advantage of brushing is that it stimulates the blood,- and lymph circulation, which creates a better detoxification process. Buy a brush made of natural hair or use a sponge or a washcloth. Brush your dry skin from head to foot with long, firm strokes towards your heart. Avoid your face as the skin is very fragile there. As a result your body will prickle and glow as the blood circulation is stimulated. Also your skin will feel shiny, polished and soft.   
Water has influence on your blood circulation and you can manipulate this fact by changing the temperature. Warm water creates relaxation. It widens the blood vessels, lowers the blood pressure and stimulates the blood supply to the skin and muscles. Because of the improved blood circulation more toxic substances are being eliminated and more oxygen and nutrients are transferred to the tissues to restore damage. Cold water, on the other hand creates stimulation. Blood vessels near the skin surface pull together, which limits the blood supply. More blood is transferred to the internal organs; these organs start to work more effectively. Take a shower every day but just before you reach for your towel, end with one minute of cold water. Excellent for your skin and blood circulation.














 


Body exercise also improves the natural detoxification process. It is very important to exercise for at least 20 minutes every day. This will increase your endurance, power and energy and is vital for a healthy mind and fit body. This  doesn't mean you have to go to the gym every day. You can put on you favorite music and start dancing in your living room, for example. Make it fun. Go to the park with your children or take the stairs in stead of the elevator at work. 
The last thing you should do every day is some sort of relaxing therapy. Take your time to sit back and relax, at least 20 minutes a day. There are many different ways to fully and completely put your body and mind at ease. Most important is the way you breathe. If you could forget everything about detox your mind except for one thing it should be the way you breathe. Weekly
Besides the exercises you should do daily, you must spoil yourself with some special treatments once or twice a week. These treatments should focus on maintaining the body which automatically means nurturing the soul. You can do some of the exercises at home. Make your own facial masks, peeling crème or relaxing bathing salts and use them once or twice throughout the week. Learn to massage your scalp, your feet and hands and find out about aroma therapies so you can make your own steam baths.

Professional massages stimulate our physical well-being and our emotional self esteem. It improves the blood,- and lymph circulation and reduces tensions in the body. It also improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues, creates a better skin and stimulates the natural detoxification process. Besides that a good massage is a pleasant and relaxing experience. A perfect  alternative for massage is reflexology. Reflexology is an excellent therapy to detox your body and mind by putting pressure on different pressure points in the hands and feet. This form of therapy also increases the blood circulation and stimulates the vital organs to eliminate toxic wastes. Try to implement one of these therapies in your week schedule to completely restore your health and vitality.
