Getting A New Grill A Viking Smoker Grill

By: Dave Valsunkski I think we have all bought an item or items on impulse and have probably regretted that moment. When buying a grill you need to give it some thought. The Viking smoker grill is a little expensive but built to better standards and quality that should last. This is something that you shouldn't skimp on. The cheaper smoker grills are not built to the same standards. With a Viking smoker grill will last and you will get plenty of fun and enjoyment from its use.

When purchasing a Viking smoker grill there is another advantage. The smoker grill has a regulator that allows you to adjust the amount of smoke used when cooking. Of course there are other cheaper smoker grills that have regulators, however the Viking smoker grill is more flexible. All that is required is setting the control to the required level of heat and come back on the few occasions to check that your food is cooking properly. Unlike other smoker grill models these require you to keep a constant eye on your cooking food.

The Viking smoker grill has been designed to produce healthy and fresh smoke all the time. This just makes your cooked for more tantalizing.

When cleaning your Viking smoker grill please allow the grill to cool down completely before removing the smoker grill cooking grates. Never pour water over the hot grates, this will most definitely damaged and probably shorten the life span of the grates. Never wait a day or two to clean the grates. The dirt and the left over food particles could become somewhat nasty during that time.

Now that the grates have cooled down, remove and place them in soapy water for a little while. Soaking in soapy water will help soften and loosen any food particles that are attached to the grates. When the food residue is loose enough use a stiff wire brush and gently remove any build up of food and grime. Allow the grates to dry, don't use a towel, as this will aid the bacteria to spread and grow.

Now don't forget the burners on your Viking smoker grill, they also need to be cleaned. If you have a charcoal grill remove the coal grate and brush inside. Cleaning the grass grill burners remove the lava rocks, briquettes or the metal flame burner. If you like you can wash the flame burner with soapy water making sure that you rinse well and leave the burner to air-dry before reassembling.

As an added precaution heat you Viking smoker grill for about 5 minutes. This ensures that it's completely dry before you decide to store your Viking smoker grill. Just remember storing wet or damp items breeds bacteria and mold and that is certainly something no one wants.
