Hope For the Future

I'm sure, if you've been paying any attention at all, that you've noticed there are plenty of things to worry about these days. If you watch the news at all, or read any kind of newspaper, you've noticed: inflation, oil prices, antibiotic resistant viruses, floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, the housing marketing is crumbling, the deficit is out of control and the dollar is weak. On top of that, the polar bears are in trouble. I could go on. . . but we all know what's going on and I have decided to make the conscious decision to only nurture the beautiful things in life and impact my present, as well as my family's present, with positivity.

This is a challenge. A huge challenge because we are pushed on every single front to interact and be motivated by fear and scarcity. I have decided to act as a catalyst for courage, abundance, beauty and strength through the process of self-persuasion and reframing our realities.

What does this mean? Well, it means I am opening myself up to new ventures. While at one point I was the 'go to' man for all your persuasion needs, I am expanding my horizons in order to become your 'go to' man for hope and abundance in a world that on the very surface seems sorrowfully short on both. It's about filling the void -- not with things (though I happen to love things -- and if you know me at all, you'll know that I am a lover of books and technology) but with inner resources and proper mindsets.

The law of resonance is very simple. An example: two office workers sit next to each other eight, nine hours a day. One is upbeat, positive, happy and friendly. The other is depressive, negative, frustrated and anti-social. With resonance, unconsciously one or both of them will begin to drift towards the other's state of being. So either the negative person will begin to elevate their mood or the positive person will start to become depressed (or angry because of the shift) or both will begin moving in the direction of the other and somewhere in between they will "resonate".

My goal is to bring this law of resonance to a very conscious level so that the events and people around you, while they may seem hopeless, are not. My suggestion is that the vibration of everything in your world can be raised up to meet you. Again, this doesn't happen passively, but happens instead through deliberate, mindful optimism.

This isn't to say there won't be moments where you need a little support in life, some fortification, someone to build you up when you have challenges. And I am geared to be that for you. I'm relentless about enriching our lives through pure, unadulterated hope.

There are opportunities everywhere if you have the eyes to see them. Even problems we might come up against contain the seeds of their solutions. We all have seeds, many seeds, that we can nurture, bringing focus to what we want to draw to us.

My goal is to teach you to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
