There is much more to driving than many teenagers and young adults realize that can cost them their chances of getting their full unrestricted license. Being ready for your driving exam can be easily accomplished with some simple preparation.
Learning your Driving signals, driving etiquette, steering wheel hand positions and safer driving practices in high traffic are what studying and practicing your driving can benefit from. Always learn how to drive with both hands on the wheel at all times.
Having adequate practice is a given. Always have a qualified driver with a license to help teach you the basics of driving and what you need to in certain situations. Make sure to practice in areas that have less traffic so that you are less likely to get into an accident or dangerous situation involving other people.
The city has many signs in it that mean different things. The course you drive may be littered with many signs that cause you to yield, stop, go and watch for children. See what signs are common but not yet ones you know so you can practice what they mean before you go on your exam run. Hand signals may need to be used once within your driving exam. The divider lines in the middle of the road may mean different things, learn what they mean.
Listening carefully to what the driving instructor tells you to do can help you make better choices when driving out in public for the first time. Knowing what to do when they ask you to turn somewhere or park in a difficult place is a must and may require additional practice.
Things like not wearing a seatbelt, making an illegal U turn, overly tapping on the gasoline pedal too when accelerating the vehicle are rookie mistakes that could have been easily avoided if the appropriate precautions were taken. Always check your mirrors and look through into your blind spots before entering another lane. Using cell phones, smoking, fidgeting or swearing during your driving test are big mistakes to make in front of driving instructor. The last thing you want is to get into a collision.
