Understanding How Money Works

By: Kelly Heldreth. This is the dreaded topic no one likes to discuss, but I promise this won't hurt. We won't be administering any shots or pulling teeth. Before we continue though, let's do a quick recap. Previously, we talked about the importance of surrounding yourself with people who have what you want. This is important because you can't spend your time with people who bring you down when you want to go higher.
Now let me explain that I'm not telling you to ditch your friends and family. However, it has to be noted that there is a correlation between the people you spend time around and your income. Think about your social circle and how they relate to money. Are they happy with their lives and financially independent, or are they always worried and broke?
You need to come to a clearer picture of how money works and learn from those who have achieved the kind of success that you want for yourself. These people must be doing something right; spend time with these people and learn what you can from them.
Wealthy people know that money is nothing more than a form of energy ? they know that when you think about money in the right way, it will be drawn to you. Many think that the only way to get to financial freedom is to work long and hard ? but there's more to it than that.
To attract money, you have to have a good relationship with it. Since money is a form of energy, all you have to do is be able to attract it to you. This energy is all around you, waiting to be tapped into.
This is what wealthy people know that the poor don't. This is why it's important to love what you do for work. The more positively you feel about your career, the better of a relationship you'll have with the money that comes from working. Let me explain it for you.
If you want to become successful and financially independent, you need to feel good about what you do for a living. People who are successful are so in large part because they love what they do. You can make money doing some thing which you don't like, of course; but this will always should you back from being as successful as you want to be. This is because you are doing something which is at odds with your real goals for your life.
You have to spend time around people who have achieved financial freedom ? watch how they act and more importantly, how they think about money. You'll never hear them say that they can't afford something. That's because they understand that money is only energy and there is no such thing as not having enough; you just need to attract it to you. If you think positively about money, this positive thinking will bring money to you.
The goal is to find a way to feel good about money in whatever way you can. When you feel good about money and have a positive relationship with it, you will absolutely attract it.
