Xocai Healthy Chocolate Biz Review (MXI Corp): Legit or Scam?

Frankly, I was quite skeptical about the idea of chocolate that was good for you but the company references independent scientific research to show that Xocai chocolate really is a health food and not just candy relabeled. Each package bears the seal of Brunswick Labs to certify the antioxidant scores. The distribution channel is independent distributors in a multilevel network which presents an opportunity if you are looking for a way to make money.

The owners and founders of MXI Corp come from a background in chocolate distribution having founded Pure De-Lite, a 300 million dollar distribution company supplying the large retailers. Investigation into the antioxidant properties of unprocessed cacao led to the formulation of the xocai chocolate. Headquartered in Reno Nevada, MXI Corp introduced their first product a few years ago and now have in excess of 50,000 distributors. They appear to be gaining sales momentum and may enter a period of explosive growth as often happens with network marketing firms once they establish themselves.

Chocolate lovers can enjoy Xocai healthy chocolate in the form of X Power Squares, Xocai Nuggets, Protein Bars, Omega Bars and Activ Liquid. Bad ingredients such as trans fats are minimized in these formulations. Those with diabetes will like the fact that low glycemic sweeteners are used. Special processing of the cocoa preserves antioxidants and acai berry is added to further boost the scores. Xocai is rich in epicatechin which is beneficial as discussed in the March 12, 2007 issue of Science Daily.

MXI Corp offers a binary compensation plan and various other bonuses for recruiting and down line building. The binary group volume is not flushed. The unused volume carries forward. There are ample executive and leadership bonuses that can be earned in addition to the binary commissions. MXI Corp pays out 50% in total on the commissionable volume. New associates can join the business for a $35 sign-up fee and the purchase of two to six cases of product depending on the number of business centers they want.

It costs about $300 to become a Xocai associate if you go with the two case activation order. Then you have a monthly auto ship of one case ($110) until you reach executive level which requires two case per month. When you think about it, $300 is not a lot of money to risk on a business startup and most of the money is in product that you are going to want to consume. The monthly auto ship expense may be offset by reduced purchases of other candy or sweets. Overall, this strikes me as a low risk business venture.

As far as marketing tools go, the company provides each distributor with a nice website including retail store and back office with business tools and training. The website and product brochures are of excellent quality. Those interested in pursuing international business can venture outside of the USA into Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan as of this writing.

With healthy chocolate as the drawing card, this should be an easier business to promote than many. I can attest to the fabulous taste and texture of the products. The remuneration plan seems to be quite fair and lucrative. The marketing tools are well done. I think that customer and rep retention will be better than average because people will like having the chocolate (without the guilt) arrive each month. Business minded folks should give this network marketing opportunity serious consideration.
