What Causes Hyperhidrosis?
We naturally perspire, all through the day, to help our body regulate its temperature. In fact sweating is necessary for the healthy physiological functioning of our bodies. It is a mechanism in which fluid containing salts is released, by which the body is able to dispel heat produced by exercise and hot environments.

What is GERD?
Gastroesophageal (pronounced: gas-tro-ih-sah-fuh-jee-ul) reflux disease is a condition in which acid from the stomach regurgitates or refluxes into the esophagus.
Treatment of GERD
As mentioned before, reflux is more troublesome at night when the individual is lying down. Relief can be provided by elevating the patient’s upper body at night. This can be done by putting blocks under the bed’s feet on the head side. Also, reflux has been observed to occur less frequently when the patient lies on his left side rather than on the right.
Symptoms of GERD
Nerve fibers in the esophagus get stimulated when there is a backward movement of acid from the stomach to the esophagus, popularly known as acid reflux. The most common result of this phenomenon is heartburn, a pain that most patients of GERD have experienced.
Living with GERD
Although GERD is a life-long condition, it is possible to live comfortably in spite of it. It only requires a little effort and persistence on the part of the patient. It is very important not to ignore it.
Causes of GERD
A number of conditions are believed to cause GERD. Different conditions may be active in different individuals, or even the same individual at different times. Chief among these are:
